His extensive knowledge of WNY's waters ensures you're in the right spot at the right time, whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills.

Matt’s fishing journey began at the age of two, and for most of his adult life, he has explored waters across the country—from Golden Trout in California’s High Sierras to striped bass along the Rhode Island coast. Originally from Pennsylvania, he has made Western New York his home since the early 1990s, where he eagerly shares his passion on local rivers and streams, often returning to central Pennsylvania and beyond.

Each trip is customized to meet your goals, providing a relaxed, hands-on experience that enables you to learn, improve, and fully enjoy your time. 

 

Guiding all skill levels

After years on the water with friends and family, I’ve had the privilege of sharing tips and advice that helped them become better anglers.  That excitement of sharing knowledge and seeing others succeed is what ultimately inspired me to become a fly‑fishing guide.

Whether it’s your very first cast or polishing advanced techniques, I welcome anglers of every skill level of all ages.  I truly enjoy teaching and guiding, adapting each experience to meet you where you are and where you want to go in your fly-fishing journey.
